About Sources
- The source tarballs linked here contain a snapshot from CVS taken from our anoncvs server:
- Solver: Output Tree. If you do not wish to do a full build, you can download the Solver from within the extended/2.2.1rc3 directory [output tree] of the extended mirrors and checkout the individual CVS modules you are interested in. The individual CVS modules can be built against the output tree. After a successful build, the CVS module binaries and/or shared libraries are delivered to the output tree. See the explanation and build instructions for details.
- Testing the Build. In order to test your work, you will need to download and install the binaries, and copy your new binaries and/or shared libraries into the OpenOffice.org installation. You might want to use the Testtool for automated GUI testing.
- Checking Out Source from CVS. We have some tips on setting up your CVS account and checking out OOo.
- Browsing Source Code. The left navbar of each project has a link, "Version Control," that takes you to a Web-viewable layout of CVS modules particular to that project.
See the Developer Resources Page or the Wiki for more information.
